WELCOME to the GLOUCESTER GROUP of THE RAMBLERS ASSOCIATION
Since the Group’s formation in 1983, we have always offered a warm and friendly welcome to all who wish to join us.
New Walkers
Please come and try a few walks with us and meet our current members. If you walk with us regularly we do ask that you join the Ramblers Association.
Walks Offered
We publish three programmes of walks a year details of which can be found on the Walks Programme Page.
Where We Walk
Although we walk Gloucestershire regularly, Gloucester is also very well situated giving easy access to the Malvern Hills, Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and the neighbouring Counties. This provides us with an almost unrivalled choice of excellent walking within a couple of hours travel.
Britain’s More Beautiful On Foot
Can you remember occasions when you explored quiet hidden corners, peaceful byways, rolling hills, villages drowsing in summer sunshine, hay and water meadows, lofty hill and mountain tops, waterfalls and streams?
Yes? Well come and explore them again with us.
No? Well come and discover them with us.
