Walks Offered

We publish three programmes of walks a year details of which can be found on the Walks Programme Page.

Where We Walk

Although we walk Gloucestershire regularly, Gloucester is also very well situated giving easy access to the Malvern Hills, Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and the neighbouring Counties. This provides us with an almost unrivalled choice of excellent walking within a couple of hours travel.

                               Britain’s More Beautiful On Foot

Can you remember occasions when you explored quiet hidden corners,     peaceful byways, rolling hills, villages drowsing in summer sunshine, hay     and water meadows, lofty hill and mountain tops, waterfalls and streams?

Yes?    Well come and explore them again with us.

No?    Well come and discover them with us.

The Gloucester Group is part  of The Ramblers Association which is a Charity that works to protect your footpaths and the public access to our varied and beautiful countryside.

Nationally and Locally, Ramblers Groups cooperate with County Footpath Officers to help with Footpath and Access problems.

The “Right to Roam” and Coastal Path legislation was also vigorously campaigned for by the Ramblers.
